As the nights draw in and the cold air sweeps through, keep the soul fires burning with creative activities and gatherings with like-minded folks. Here are some UPLIFT offerings from Creative Recovery, that plan to do just that!


Changing Perspectives
 
Wednesday 18th November, 1.30-3.30pm @ The Assembly Room, The Civic
 
Be part of Hayley’s Artistic Residency Programme at The Civic. Join her and one of UPLIFT’s favourites, artist Lee Sass, for a specially designed, fun-filled workshop of creative play, storytelling and remaking things.

UPLIFT Barnsley Homemade
Christmas Workshop

Friday 20th November, 9.30-5pm @ RF Homemade Christmas Pop Up shop on Cheapside next to H&A News near the entrance to the old outdoor markets

Drop in and work with James from Responsible Fishing on their Handmade Christmas project using all things natural to create beautiful, handmade christmas gifts and treats.


UPLIFT Willow Lantern Making Workshop 

Friday 27th November, 12-3pm @ The Creative

Recovery Shop, (aka Carnival) on the Eldon Arcade

Join Cecilie to help create and finish up some special Willow Lanterns for our special micro-festival event which is set to take place on December the 30th. If you love willow work,  join Cecilie as she starts the creation of these wonderful lanterns at the Live ARTS Cafe on
Wednesday the 18th and 25th of November.
